Welcome to our class blog!

We are class of 5th graders, and I am their teacher. We have decided to start a class blog so that we can talk about what we are reading and what our class is learning. We are hoping that by doing this, we can better understand what we are reading and encourage others to try new and different books. We also want to be able to share class events by writing about them.

We are excited to start this new adventure!

WOW! Your students have done a great job so far--the two entries made me want to start reading those books right now. A question for Mrs. Staton: Are your students able to blog without their own blogger account?

To answer Knit Fitz's Question:

I log onto our page. The students come over and use my computer to type up what they want to say. I am the one who "posts". If you notice under each post it says "posted by Mrs. Staton". The kids put their names with what they write so we know who wrote what. They do not have a Google/Blogger account. It is all done under my name.

I think you did a good job Chris!I think your comments were very interesting and cool. I agree when you said that Klaus was your favorite character. I loved your descriptions about these stories! Matthew Quigley
